Future developments
Production
- This fall will increase the extension to 20 HA.
- NB: This will raise the profile of our business to have the largest Global Gap certified extension of Coconuts in Vietnam for fresh exports.
Factory
- With unique cooperation, we will be looking to develop the capacity of the factory both technically and physically
- Investment in new equipment and the process will allow us to accompany our customers demand to provide them with Quality, Sustainable and Drinking coconuts
- Sustainable packaging is also a fundamental part of the development process
Certification & QMS:
- All of this with the vision of having 100% of production under full certification by the end of 2021.
- Residue results continually improved due to changed spraying and calibration techniques. Analysis per block pre-harvest to ensure compliance with EU MRL's.
- Continued commitment by grower and JCD VN to ensure that this is a unique product with all the agronomic and technical aspects of the business in place.
- Internal QMS already in place.
Marketing
- Engage fully with our customers to provide them with the fruit they require.

Logistics
- Work with the key logistic companies in Vietnam and port of destination to ensure smooth and effective operations for the whole supply chain
Traceability & Pesticide Reduction :
- Change to the identification of blocks to and enable traceability to sub-blocks within the farm this will be continued with the extension to the farm
- Partnership with visible.digital to ensure a digital traceability and transparency system is in place.
- Initial pilot to start in 2021
- Introduction of IPM throughout production
- Reduction of insecticide use and addition of pheromone traps
- Garlic extract being used to great effect as a repellant
- We now have >95% control of fruit fly with out pesticide usage.
- NB: This is important for the other fruit production on the farm as the coconuts receive no chemical applications at all currently
